angrypizza98 Essential neo-psychedelia that transcends time and space. This album literally melts time. 9/10 Favorite track: Donald Pleasance.

John Rowland This is my favorite album of all time. I cannot comprehend listening to an album that sounds better than this one. This is everything I've ever wanted in music and I would gladly take any chance I could to tell the members of this band thank you, for everything. Favorite track: Even Fantastica.
Michael J Melnik

Michael J Melnik Gorgeous dream pop that has a sound like no other. Emotional and heartbreaking album. Favorite track: Popstar Researching Oblivion.
Sven B. Schreiber (sbs)

Sven B. Schreiber (sbs) "Les Inrockuptibles" compares "Flotation Toy Warning" to "Mercury Rev" and "The Flaming Lips" - but actually, the first band that came to my mind was "The Killers". The songs, written by Paul Carter and Ben Clay, have a nice lo-fi appeal, while at the same time being whimsical and, in fact, not really simple ones. "Bluffer's Guide To The Flight Deck" represents sublime songwriting throughout, and Vicky West's brass and string arrangements complement it in a perfect symbiotic way. Favorite track: Donald Pleasance.
Harry Hamid

Harry Hamid Fantastic album that trips all the right emotional wires. I wish the bandcamp edition didn't substitute a second(?) appearance of "Fire Engine on Fire Part 2" for "How the Plains Left Me Flat." Favorite track: Fire Engine On Fire Part II.
Connor Gregg

Connor Gregg This album is a really beautiful set of avant-garde pop songs. It's this great amalgamation of influences like David Bowie, MGMT, Pink Floyd, the Beatles, the Flaming Lips, and a bit of the Killers. If you like any of those bands, like myself, you'll find plenty to love in this album. Favorite track: Donald Pleasance.

It was sunny on the day the journey began Seems I was a part of some lack of a plan Was I early? 'Cause you weren't ready Looking back now where it all seems bizarre The boy in the photo on the seat of the car That's me At least it was me Back then Please leave all shiny objects behind You won't need them where we're going Relax, take a deep breath, and concentrate now We really must be gone There's a risk in everything we undertake But now you must trust me more than anyone 'Cause I've seen things That you could only dream about I've been to places that you'll never find And I've had dreams that you couldn't even fit inside your head now All the places I wish I could find 'Cause I've seen things That you could only dream about I've been to places that you'll never find And I've had dreams that you couldn't even fit inside your head now All the places I wish I could find Guess we can't really choose exactly where we land But how fast you were bound is in your own hands Are you ready? Am I too early? Looking back now where it all seems bizarre The boy in the photo on the seat of the car That's me At least it was me Back then Relax, take a deep breath, and concentrate now We really must be gone There's a risk in everything we undertake Now, you must trust me more than anyone

I never knew what you thought was here Get another fear to add to the list I've been collecting little lies Just to put on the special tape I get them to play the day you die I'll tell them you were always frightened Just like anybody else And you cried inside just like me You seem to live with fingertips Wrapped around your face Does it keep the dark away? Talk to me and tell me that all of them are wrong And all my dreams will come in time Trying, trying to understand it all To understand it all just makes your head hurt Trying, trying to understand it all To understand it all just makes your head hurt Yes you have all the pieces they said that you had to collect But what did you expect that all to amount to? Trying, trying to understand it all To understand it all just makes your head hurt Trying, trying to understand it all To understand it all just makes your head hurt

I have the captain on the line Wants to know who made it through this time Wants to know who's smiling this time Don't know what the captain has to say, on how this Decorated man became a boy Doesn't want to know that it's bed time Wants just one more game to see him through night time Although they took his men away, he wants the paper and The empty box to stay I have the captain on the line Wants to know who made it through this time Wants to know who's smiling this time Although they took his men away, he wants the paper and The empty box to stay "Drusky wanted God to return his youth and grant him the Guitar-playing skills of the famous guitarists along with Resurrecting his mother and his pet pigeon. If God failed to appear in court, federal rules of civil Procedure said he must lose by default."
