I already wrote so many silly comparisons that I don’t have much to lose now: This sometimes sounds like Emma Ruth Rundle making soft covers of Chelsea Wolfe tracks. But that’s probably just because I don’t know that many singer-songwriter. TL; DR: Soothing as hell; don’t pay too much attention to the weird old-school-looking cover art.

Without a doubt one of the best albums I have had the pleasure of hearing. Emily's voice is so warm and inviting. The music is mixed to perfection, providing a dark and involving melancholic beauty. I cannot recommend this album enough. An essential and astounding work.

This is a totally mesmerizing album. It;s really special, and feels like a beautiful melancholic painting (if that makes any sense). Amongst singer-songwriters, very few have such a distinctive style of there own.
